Forum Title: Tuff Forms Barrier Free System
Any thoughts on this system? We are installing one on our current project and seems like a nice little structural insert.

Thanks Matt. When I was investigating systems I was really impressed with their product specialist. They know their stuff. I was also impressed that Mapei prodcuts were apart of their line up and now reading from JW that they made the waterproofing just for that pan. We dropped the pan in today. We did have to pull it up once to add some shims, but lesson learned on what it takes to get it level the first shot. The drain was super easy to install and I love the fact that it can seat any way and the drain will line up perfectly. Not to mention that there are no screws but just a drain lock. Nice clean look on the drain. Can't say that I am too thrilled at the price point. The 47x59 pan with premium install kit cost nearly $1400, but I saved a ton of time on the install side, so some of it was made up already. I'll post pics soon. I also installed plywood on the walls of the shower. Something that I was hesitant at first, but it's going to be waterproofed and allows for the freedom to install bars anywhere they want in the future. They do say that you can recess the plywood and install CBU over, but I figured why go through the extra step. I install tile over AD not CBU, so it shouldn't matter what is underneath.
